Thanks for having this site. I am an electronics enthusiast turned to computer guy, (forgetting to reverse the circuit board trace for op amps - been there. Though I think the chips look better on the solder side of the board anyway, saves having to drill those pesky holes right. ) I am now getting back into guitar after a decade of hibernation and lately its all been about buying the now affordable and quite amazing digital effects processors. Its so easy to get lost in the sea of [now available] good cheap equipment that I feel so spoiled and almost silver spoon in my mouth after reading the journeys and adventures y'all did back in the (time before I was even born). It definately gives me something to think about the next time I am feeling I somehow don't have enough musical toys to play with, and if I really do need something, that instead of looking for it used in a for sale bulletin board, I should just make it.

I was just thinking about this EP the other day, a friend in my class at school sold copies to a few of us, must have been in 1979, I think I still have it, will have to check the attic well the remains of my vinyl collection remain.

Found your site after searching google for info on my husbands Columbus Jazz bass guitar. Ended up reading the whole site, for hours! We really love the floorboard bass best. Very entertaining, and inspirational. Thanks. Made us laugh loads. Hope you still play sometimes somewhere. Aitch & Aaron McRobbie
